It’s always a marquee matchup when the Patriots go up against the Jets. One of the best “games within the game”, is on the interior, when Nick Mangold goes up against Vince Wilfork. Two of the best at their respective positions will be fun to watch. Nick talked about Wilfork, and how he is used, when he spoke to the media yesterday:

They move him around. They do a good job of playing him in different positions. It’s always interesting to see how they end up doing it. They’re very good at switching up their schemes and doing (different) things. It’s always an exciting mental game to play with them.

His teammate, linebacker Bart Scott, had glowing words for his center:

I think he’s one of the best centers in the league. I think when you talk about great centers, you talk about him and (Maurkice) Pouncey. (They have) totally different style, but both equally effective.

This will be a fun matchup on Sunday to watch. These are two of the best in football in what they do. If you are looking for an interesting matchup to watch in the trenches, this is the one.
