Jets vs. Patriots: Friday Injury Report

It’s Friday before the big game against New England, and with it, comes the final injury report for the week. First, for the Jets:

DOUBTFUL: DL Kenrick Ellis (Knee), DB Eric Smith (Knee), RB Bilal Powell (Shoulder), DL Sione Po’uha (Low Back)

None of these guys practiced except for Po’uha (Limited), but Rex Ryan announced that if it will jeopardize his health, Sione won’t play. I wouldn’t expect to see any of these guys on Sunday.

QUESTIONABLE: WR Clyde Gates (Shoulder), RB Joe McKNight (Ankle), OL Nick Mangold (Ankle)

Rex has announced that McKnight will be a game-time decision. Gates and Mangold were both limited in practice, but my feel is that Mangold is more likely to play than Gates.

PROBABLE: QB Mark Sanchez (Low Back), LB Calvin Pace (Shoulder), OL Brandon Moore (Hip), OL Matt Slauson (Knee), WR Jeremy Kerley (Finger), TE Dustin Keller (Hamstring), WR Stephen Hill (Hamstring), LB Bart Scott (Toe), LB Bryan Thomas (Hamstring), DB LaRon Landry (Heel)

Everyone should be a go here, no worries.

Now for the Patriots:

OUT: RB Brandon Bolden (Knee), S Steve Gregory (Hip), LB Tracy White (Foot)

The biggest name here is Bolden. He and his 5.4 yards per carry will miss the game on Saturday, which is great for us, and all the trouble we have had with speed rushers.

QUESTIONABLE: DL Ron Brace (Back), S Patrick Chung (Shoulder), WR Julian Edelman (Hand), TE Rob Gronkowski (Hip), TE Aaron Hernandez (Ankle), LB Dont’a Hightower (Hamstring), G Logan Mankins (Calf/Hip), OL Nick McDonald (Shoulder), CB Sterling Moore (Knee), OT Sebastian Vollmer (Back/Knee), WR Wes Welker (Ankle)

All of these guys were limited, but sorry, it seems that all the big names on there are expected to play. Don’t get your hopes up about any of these guys not playing on Sunday.

PROBABLE: DT Kyle Love (Knee)

Thanks for reading as always.
