Texans vs. Jets: Weather report

All right folks, Monday night.. prime time game. On the day that we honor Christopher Columbus for finding the new world, the Jets find themselves in another new world facing the undefeated Texans.

So, if you are traveling to MetLife Stadium; make sure you are wearing an extra layer cause it will be chilly (not Cincinnati closing out Giants stadium cold) according to weather.com.

At night the temperature should be 43 degrees with no chance of rain, a little bit of wind and there will be 70% humidity.

So with the next to gorgeous conditions outside, who do they favor in the game? The fact that there will be no bad weather during the game, it makes the conditions a wash.

But Sunday, it’s going to be raining for most of the day. Even though Monday during the day, it’s going to be sunny with some clouds in the sky, the track may still be a slick track and as we saw against the 49ers, Holmes on first glance look liked his feet came out from under him.

Slick tracks to slow down pass rushes and running games but there needs to be something extraordinary to happen if the Jets have any kind of shot in this game. They do have history on their side but this is really Houston’s game to lose on Monday night.
