Well, the Jets are making an addition to the passing game.

Mulltiple reports have surfaced late this morning that the Jets have signed WR Jason Hill, most recently with the Broncos this preseason(pictured). More famously, Jets fans will remember Hill in 2011 with the Jaguars, trash talking Darrelle Revis, Revis responding having no idea who he was, and then Hill didn’t play. Interesting sidebar now that he is a member of the Jets.

For his career, he has recorded 76 catches for 1,028 yards and 8 TDs. His top year came in 2008 with the San Francisco 49ers with 30 catches for 317 yards and 2 TDs. Last year with the Jacksonville Jaguars, he added 3 TDs.

People on Twitter have proferred the question if whether or not Mike Tannenbaum chooses his free agents by throwing darts at a dartboard that lists names of players nobody knows or cares about. Understandable sentiment. Clearly Mike went the journeyman route, signing an underachieving wideout that trash talks.

We all hope Mike knows what he is doing, but certainly sounds like a Jet, doesn’t it?
