Well, we have no official news yet, but the unofficial news doesn’t sound good.

As of last official check, Santonio Holmes was headed to get a second opinion regarding his injured foot. The worry, is the result that they are going to come back with. Reports are coming out this afternoon that the worry amongst the Jets organization is that Santonio is lost for the season due to this foot injury sustained on Sunday.

As I said, we have no official word yet. so we don’t know for sure quite yet. But if this is true, we have some trouble my friends. We all know how weak the Jets are at WR, without Holmes, that leaves the depth chart pretty barren of any established talent.

Will this cause Mike Tannenbaum to finally go outside the organziation for some help? Time will tell. Will it be too little, too late? Time will also tell. One thing we all know, it’s always interesting in Florham Park, and it may just get even more interesting.
