Still some uncertainty on the Santonio Holmes front.

Just a little while ago, head coach Rex Ryan announced what we heard yesterday, that x-rays on Santonio Holmes’ foot came back negative. This is a good sign. He also confirmed that any knee problems have been ruled out. We all let a sigh of relief out with that, as many of us feared yesterday for another ACL tear, as Holmes went down without contact.

We don’t know the extent of the injury at the time of this report, however, as the Jets are still waiting back on the MRI, which took place this morning. Rex said obviously Holmes will be out, but the results of that test will give us more information as far as to how long.

This is obviously a big blow to a Jets offense that wasn’t doing very much anyway, especially yesterday. We now all wait, to find out if Holmes will be out for an extended period of time. If he is…….oh boy.
