49ers vs. Jets: Thursday Injury Report

It’s Thursday, and time for the updates. As always, we will provide you today with the updates on yesterday’s injury report filed by Max McKenna.

It’s a short one, as not many changes came in from yesterday.  Just a couple for the Jets.

DB LaRon Landry (Heel)-This has been par for the course all season, Rex and the staff giving LaRon the day off. He is fine, and there is no reason why he wouldn’t play on Sunday.

LB Bart Scott (Toe)
DB Eric Smith (Hip/knee)

Neither of these two guys practiced yesterday, so these are upgrades. It seems that both of these guys will play on Sunday, unless something comes up as the week finishes out.

Matt Slauson appeared on the list for the first time with a knee injury, but he was a full go at practice and should be fine for Sunday.

The biggest news is that Dustin Keller, though still limited, is expected to play on Sunday. He will be a welcome addition to an offensive attack that has had a hard time in the early going of games. Stephen Hill, on the other hand, is hopeful to play, but coach Ryan is more iffy about whether or not he will play, and it sounded like he doesn’t expect it.

We’ll update tomorrow, as always.
