The Jets made one more re-signing to round out the day of moves. In addition to bringing back Bryan Thomas, as we discussed earlier this afternoon, the Jets have announced the re-signing of WR Patrick Turner. He played well this preseason, being the only WR that stayed healthy the entire time, only to be released after being injured during the opening game against the Buffalo Bills. A good idea by the Jets, as Mark Sanchez had good chemistry with Turner, and the Jets definitely need help on the outside. Then again, we have all said that for a while, haven’t we?

To make room, in addition to the move to release Marcus Dixon that we mentioned earlier, the Jets released two other players. The Jets announced that they have released CB Donnie Fletcher, and OL Dennis Landolt. Not a surprise, as although Fletcher was activated from the practice squad for this past game, he was inactive, and Landolt has not been active due to injury for any game so far.
