Darrelle Revis to Undergo MRI Tomorrow

We got out of there with a win, but the bigger fallout from Miami will come tomorrow.

Darrelle Revis will have an MRI on his knee on Monday, to determine the extent of the injury that he suffered this afternoon that caused him to come out of the game. We all saw him plant his foot, and then go down hard. It wasn’t pretty to watch. He did leave the field under his own power, but it would be far from the first time that a guy left under his own power and then was out for the season.

Jets fans, let’s say our prayers before we go to bed tonight. Let us pray, that the knee only is sprained, or a bad bruise, or something of that less severe nature. If he tore his ACL, we all know that he will be gone for the rest of 2012. The Jets are high on Kyle Wilson and Ellis Lankster, but aren’t too keen on the idea of putting the season on their shoulders.

So let us pray.
