The news we expected to hear is finally here.

Darrelle Revis will play on Sunday when the Jets face the Miami Dolphins. Revis missed last week’s game following a concussion sustained during the week 1 game against the Bills. He has past his tests, and he is ready to go against Miami on Sunday.

In other news, LaRon Landry has been fined $15,750 for his horse collar tackle of Antonio Brown last week. The tackle was one of two penalties LaRon received on the day, the other being for a late hit out of bounds.

Landry, for what it’s worth, has stated this week that despite the penalties, he is not going to change his style of play, nor should he. His play is just what the Jets have needed over the middle. He also didn’t think he got the horse collar, and is going to appeal his fine.

Finally, just a brief mention of the incident in the locker room today. Bart Scott apparently got into a verbal confrontation with Jets Confidential writer Dan Leberfeld. There are conflicting stories as to what happened, and the Jets are looking into the matter.
