TJP:Do you think Tony Sparano being on our side creates any form of an advantage, with his knowledge of the personnel?

PP:I don’t know honestly. Offensively, he may know something about WR’s Brian Hartline and Davone Bess and maybe Jake Long but the rest of the team is different in this new offense. More of his knowledge should come from the defensive side of the ball as most of those players haven’t changed. Not sure he really can supply the Jets with enough info to turn the game.

TJP:What do you think are the biggest matchup problems for the Dolphins, going up against the Jets, on either side of the ball?

PP:This is actually simple. If the Dolphins defense can beat the Jets offensive line they will keep Sanchez from exploiting their weak secondary. Offensively, I don’t know how Miami’s WR’s are going to handle the Jets secondary. I see a lot of passes to the RB’s out of the back-field.

TJP:What’s your prediction for the game?

PP:Cop out time. I think this game has too many variables to really have an idea of who is going to win. I think it will be a lot closer than many think though.

Thanks to Brian for sitting down with us for this segment. For all things Dolphins, please check out his site,, he and his team do a terrific job.
