Mark Sanchez will look to beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh for only the second time in his career.

The Steelers probably should be just as concerned about the Jets’ offense and defense as much as the Jets should be concerned with theirs.  If the Jets play vs the Bills was any indication at how they will attack their opponents offensively, look for the Jets to utilize the speed of Stephen Hill and Jeremy Kerley against those Steelers CBs who gave up over 100 yards receiving on just 5 catches to Broncos WR Demarius Thomas, in order to take advantage of any mismatches the Steelers secondary gives them.  The Steelers will look to attack the Jets in the middle with Heath Miller and test the Jets new safeties Laron Landry and Yeremiah Bell at an attempt to exploit a weakness the Jets had last season in covering athletic Tight Ends.  The Jets will also be without All-Pro CB Darrelle Revis and will start CB Kyle Wilson in his place.  Wilson has flashed at times for the Jets but has had periods in which he struggles, look for the Big Ben to go after him early and often.  In the win against the Bills last week, the Jets gave up 169 yards to CJ Spiller, so look for the Steelers to try to exploit the Jets run defense with Dwyer and Redman.  Even without Revis I see a close game, which will see both defenses making impact plays and that will probably come down to a last second score to win it.  The Jets defeated the Steelers 22-17 in Pittsburg in 2010 so the possibility of the Jets pulling out a win in the Steel city isn’t that farfetched.   Simply put, the Steelers can easily win this one by 10+ points, but at the least, I can see the Steelers doing just enough to cover the six point spread.

If I were a betting man – I would take the Steelers and the over
