Well, we have good news, and some bad news on the injury front for the Jets this afternoon.
In the category of better than good news, Darrelle Revis participated in individual drills in practice today. This was his first appearance on the practice field this week since his accidental concussion at the hands of Bart Scott. We haven’t heard an official word from Rex Ryan regarding Darrelle’s status, but I, like everyone else, will be waiting with excitement for that.
UPDATE:Darrelle did take some team reps, but doesn’t know yet if he was cleared for contact.
The bad news is that of Dustin Keller. He did not practice at all today. Word is he may have suffered a setback with his hamstring injury, and him sitting out today is pretty good evidence of that. More has come in the fact that the Jets announced the re-signing of TE Dedrick Epps to the active roster. It doesn’t appear very likely that we will have Dustin on Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh. It will be a big loss, but fact is he was a non-factor against Buffalo, so we know this offense can perform. It will just serve to give more touches to the guys on the outside.
As soon as the we have the official injury reports we will get them to you.
