Darrelle Revis with a Minor Concussion

Just when you thought everything was rosy and beautiful, this news comes in.

After reports yesterday that Darrelle Revis did not suffer a concussion after being accidentally kicked in the head by Bart Scott, today we learn otherwise. Coach Rex Ryan announced that Darrelle did, in fact, suffer a minor concussion, thanks to the accidental meet and greet with Bart’s shoe. Rex said that Darrelle is “feeling fine”, but will be leaning on the doctors/trainers as they follow the NFL protocol. Obviously Darrelle will have to pass the league’s tests in order to play on Sunday against Pittsburgh.

We don’t have to talk about how big a loss it will be if Darrelle cannot go on Sunday. Yes, Kyle Wilson had a pick, but he is no Darrelle, and I am sure Ben Rothlisberger is hoping beyond hope that Darrelle will be on the sidelines, and not guarding Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown, or anybody else.

We will follow this all week long, and keep you updated as more information becomes available.
