The final dress rehearsal looms tonight. The Jets get a huge break, however, with the return to the lineup of Santonio Holmes, and Jeremy Kerley. Their presence will loom large for an offense that has been stuck in neutral since the open of training camp. And nobody could be more thrilled than the Jets two quarterbacks, Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow.

Here is what Mark had to say about their return:

It’s great. I love JK (Kerley). He’s quick and explosive. (We got) a mix of a little Santonio again out there today and it just felt like things started to click again. (When) you get explosive playmakers like that back, it really can boost your offense.

Here is what Tebow had to say about Jeremy Kerley:

I’ve had a chance a little bit to throw with him, to get a little timing down. He’s a very explosive player. I think his 40 time was about as fast as he plays on the field. He’s quick getting in and out of cuts, in and out of breaks. Some guys just have a knack for that and he really does. He’s just a great athlete. You can tell, I think he got drafted in baseball, that he can throw the ball well. He runs around. He can catch. He’s just smart. He’s just a football player and I think that’s a big time compliment you can give someone. He’s just good at playing the game of football.

We are all happy to get these guys back tonight, even if they are in for limited plays. It’s about time.
