Tannenbaum knows we are impatient, folks.
Despite the fact that we haven’t seen it lately, Mike has been up nights trying to help this team. He knows we have questions, and is putting the heat on himself trying to find the answers. Here is what he told Dennis Waszak Jr from the AP:
“Look, nobody puts more pressure on themselves than me,” the 43-year-old Tannenbaum said. “I have the best job in America and wouldn’t trade it for anything. I really just worry about things that I can control. I’m trying to put us in the best possible position to have a good year.”
He went on to talk about that the problems start with him. He knows that the depth and the chemistry were not good last year, and says he has tried, and is trying to address those issues.
Remember folks, there are a lot of cuts to be made around the league in the coming weeks. Mike said that Labor Day will be a “mini-draft” for the team.
A lot of guys will be available upcoming. I know it feels bleak, but don’t give up on Tannenbaum just yet. After all, Revis Island would not have come to rest in NY if not for him.
