Tim Tebow Gets Frustrated at Offensive Line During Saturday Loss

At least Tim gets unexcited every once in a while.

Saturday night, during the debacle against the Giants, Tebow got visibly frustrated with his offensive line. He was seen pointing and screaming their way after Giants rookie Will Hill came free on the blind side and sacked Tim with around 8 minutes remaining in the game.

Carlton Powell, Giants defensive tackle, used the opportunity to get on the Jets’ backup quarterback a bit:

“Obviously, we were getting after him a little bit,” said Powell, who signed with the Giants last week. “And I guess they weren’t holding up their protection so some mistakes were being made so I saw him getting mad so I said a little something to him. He kind of looked at me like he wanted to say something, but he didn’t really say nothing though.”

No surprise, as you don’t get Tim Tebow in that state too often. Any opponent would have taken advantage.

I do like the fact that Tim is not afraid to call guys out, even on the field, when they aren’t doing their jobs. That is the mark of a potentially good leader.

Tebow has showed from day one that he is a leader and that is not going to change. If our line is really going to be this bad he may have to start at QB because they can’t block wind right now.
