Bart doesn’t buy into the idea that either his contract extension, or the acquisiton of Tim Tebow being the motivation for Mark improving. Instead, he feels that Mark is “accepting a role, accepting being the leader.”
This is all good news for the Jets, as long as it translates onto the field. No, he cannot control the offensive line, but he can control how he does with the football. If his leadership turns into great play on the field, the Jets will be just fine.
