Antonio Cromartie is one of the most athletic of the New York Jets. When he is on his game, be it with interceptions or kick returns, he makes big plays that are unbelieveable.

But, there has been a lot of “chippyness” over the last couple of days at Jets training camp, although it has backed off of late. Cromartie has been in the middle of much of it, on the field and off. Rich Cimini recently wrote a piece where he talked about Antonio being the root of the problems.

Is he right? There certainly is a lot of evidence to support it.

Go back to his comments. We know all about them, “I am the second best Wr on the team”. He said it, it was out there. We talked about how he could have apologized, once he realized that it annoyed teammates. But instead, he tried to justify it, yes saying he didn’t mean to annoy others, but still justifying the fact that it was true.

Despite what Rex says about having more control, which he does, these types of things linger in people’s heads.
