A team a little thin at wide receiver due to injuries released two today.

The Jets have announced they released Scotty McKnight and DaMarcus Ganaway. Ganaway showed some promise this preseason so far, but was dealing with injuries that he just couldn’t overcome in time. McKnight’s release is not a real suprise to anyone, as he hasn’t looked very good in camp.

With two wide receivers released, there is rampant speculation tonight that the Jets are getting ready to make a move for a veteran wide receiver. Will they? We will keep you posted.
