During yesterday’s day off, Mike Tannenbaum held a press conference where he addressed the situation regarding Jeff Otah. He didn’t go into a lot of specifics other than talking about that he didn’t meet the terms of the trade. What he did have something interesting to say about was Wayne Hunter’s status:

“He is our starting right tackle, until that changes,” Tannenbaum said.

Interesting hair split, huh? Here is what he went on to say:

“I think it is reasonable to think he can play better and we can win with him. We have in the past,” Tannenbaum said. “With that said, if there’s opportunities at any position, we’re going to look to add players. But he certainly has the inside track to be our right tackle.”

Another politicially in the middle comment, don’t you think?
