Dustin Keller has been a core member of the New York Jets for the last four years, going into a fifth. He also has been the only receiving weapon that has been with Mark Sanchez for his entire career to date.

Keller has said openly that he would like to get a new contract done with the Jets. However, the Jets have shown no interest in moving ahead with a new deal for Dustin yet. They seem to want to wait for him to perform in the Tony Sparano system.

“It is not looking like they are going to, but I can only handle what I can handle, so I’m just going to go out and play my game,” Keller said yesterday. “I am still under contract for another year. Obviously, I would like to get something done, but I’m under contract so I’m going to play it out if that’s the road they decide to go.”
