Good morning Jets fans, and welcome to the first weekend of Jets football 2012.

Exciting, isn’t it? The guys are getting back to work. Rex is in full swing with his bravado, although no more guarantees. Sunday, the guys start working in pads, so the sounds of football will be resounding through the fields at SUNY Cortland.

It is almost like Christmas or Chanukah, except for football fans only.

It’s time to start watching those matchups we were talking about in the days leading up to training camp. Who will emerge as the kicker? How about punter? Is the pass rush going to be better?

What about our friend Wayne Hunter? Will he get beaten out, or rise to the occasion? And of corse, the quarterback thing.

The Jet Press will have it all.
