It looks like a few of the new look New York Jets will need a little more time to get going.

Demario Davis, LB chosen in the third round, has been placed on the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list after straining his hamstring yesterday during his conditioning run. He is listed as day to day, and we hope it stays that way, as he is expected to contribute right away, in sub packages and in pass coverage especially.

Another guy expected to contribute right away is LaRon Landry. But, to no surprise, was placed on the PUP list as well.

Any one on the list can’t practice until they are removed from the list. In order to be removed from the list, they must pass a physical and a conditioning run.

Jordan White and Terrance Campbell also were put on the list.

Hopefully these guys will be able to come off soon, as the Jets expect big things from Davis and Landry especially.
