Brandon Moore was a three year starter at the University of Illinois, but not on offense. His time as a member of the Fighting Illini was spent on the defensive line, starting at defensive tackle. He started, and was good at it.

Moore’s career at Illinois culminated with earning All-Big Ten honors his senior season, finishing that year with tackles and a team leading 14 quarterback hurries.

Brandon went undrafted, and was signed by the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2002. After spending 2002 on the practice squad, he made the team in 2003, and hasn’t left the offensive line since.

Known for his consistency, he became a full time starter in 2004, starting in 13 games that year. Moore has started every game since along the Jets line.

A mainstay of the Jets for years, who doesn’t get enough credit. Spotlight on guard Brandon Moore.
