Rookie Josh Bush got a few reps with the first team defense during minicamp, much to his surprise. He is working hard to make his mark at the safety spot, and has a chance to make an impact in sub packages in 2012. Here is what he had to say on the Rex Ryan defense:

Rex Ryan is actually very similar to my high school coach, Dale Barnes, they have like the same personality. He’s going to tell it to you straight, that’s the best way I can say it. It’s very different from Coach Grobe at Wake Forest, but it’s similar to my high school coach.

It’s good to see that Josh Bush is feeling comfortable. It will be great to see him make his attempt at moving up the depth chart in a few days up in Cortland, NY.
