Sione Pouha distinguished himself as a leader on the Jets defense as a shining star in an 8-8 season. He talked about the difference between this year and last during his summer Q and A:
I think you always learn from your downfalls, and I think we learned from last year. Some mistakes that we made, whether it be penalties or maybe there were personal reasons why we couldn’t get better, whether it is me getting stronger or me getting faster. I think everybody is going to look to that and learn from that. And I think learning from it will make us a better 2012 team.
He also spoke about breakout players, as he feels that Kenrick Ellis and Mo Wilkerson are the guys to watch out for.
Sione is pretty confident in his line mates, let’s hope he is right.
