Dustin Keller is entering his fifth season with the New York Jets. He has been the only consistent target that has been around for Mark Sanchez’s entire career to date, and is looking for a new contract. Interestingly, the Jets have seen no need to redo his deal yet, as they have done for other rookies at this stage in their careers.

There has been debate as to the reason for this tactic by the Jets, some say they are waiting to see if he fits in the new scheme.

You have seen my opinions on the subject, that his production has gone up every season, and he has not been a problem in the locker room.

What we are going to look at today is how Keller’s numbers to date compare to the numbers of other well known tight ends in their first four years.
