Brandon Moore has been a mainstay of the offensive line since 2004, so he has seen a lot of guys come and go through the Green and White. Here is what he had to say to Jenny Vrentas about who he thinks will breakout in 2012:
I don’t have a list, but you asked me this, and I just thought of him. I think (receiver) Chaz Schilens. It may not show every time you guys come (to practice), with some big catch, but he’s doing all the things the coach is telling him to do. He’s coming down blocking safeties with effort in practice, and running routes the way they want them to be run for the most part. He seems to stand out to me as a guy who is a real pro about what he does. He’s doing extra in the weight room and training room. He’s always working, always walking around with a sweaty T-shirt and moving here and there. He’s a guy that stands out to me, and I hope he has a really good year.
After 2011 was a down year, it’s good to see guys coming into town that are working hard. The dynamic seems improved since 2011, and that can only be a good sign.
