How do you solve a problem like the Gronker? That is a take off on a line from a Broadway show song, but it works here. What are the Jets, among other teams, to do? These tight ends are huge, fast, and have great hands.

What you do is start working as many guys as possible at this problem, which is one tact that the Jets are taking. Ellis Lankster is working now as the 4th cornerback on the Jets. Take a look at what he had to say about his role in the upcoming season, courtesy of Jenny Vrentas and her Q and A session:

Yes ma’am. I’m the No. 4 corner. I come in on passing downs, like second down and third down, as the fourth corner. So to me, to be the fourth corner on the Jets, that’s really good. You come in and my position includes sticking to tight ends and blitzing. So far, everything has been going good.
