Is Coach Rex Ryan on the Hot Seat?

2 AFC Championship games give a coach some time. He is entitled to a bad year.

Secondly, don’t forget that Rex doesn’t make the final call on the personnel decisions. The blogger references draft picks, and the Tim Tebow trade. You could question the value of any of these, as I have, but they are not on Rex. Despite the fact that Rex promised Coples a pick with the #16 if he was available, that is still on Tannenbaum for the final call.

The use of Tebow is on Rex, no doubt about it. But Rex didn’t make the call on bringing him in either.

So, is Rex on the hot seat? Maybe a little lukewarm. However, unless it all falls apart and the Jets go 4-12, I don’t see Rex going anywhere.
