SAFETY:Erik McMillan-Now, talk about a position that the Jets have had slim pickings at in my day, safety is one of the biggest examples. But as I went through the years since 1985, I stumbled upon McMillan. He actually had a pretty good career with the Jets from 1988-1992. During that brief five year span, with some pretty bad Jets teams, McMillan made two Pro Bowls. He recorded 22 INTs in the Green and White, making him the best choice for this spot.

SAFETY:Brian Washington-Anybody remember this guy? I didn’t either. But when I was going through team history, this guy actually carved out a decent career as a New York Jet. Washington was in the Kelley Green jersey of the New York Jets from 1990-1994, and picked off 18 passes in that time. In a history that isn’t very deep at safety, Washington makes the cut.

HONORABLE MENTION-James Hasty, Antonio Cromartie
