Darrelle Revis Number 5 on NFL Network Top 100

Congratulations to Darrelle Revis tonight. The NFL Network revealed its Top Ten, in its Top 100 players in the game today, and Darrelle was named #5. He also was the top defensive player on the list.

Anyone who watches the game knows the impact that Darrelle Revis has on it. Even if he is not intercepting passes, he is taking the other team’s best weapon out of the game. Holding Calvin “Megatron” Johnson to one catch for 13 yards in their 2010 matchup tells you all you need to know.

He’s the best defensive player in the game and it isn’t close. He should be higher than Megatron based on the above stat, but #5 is pretty good.
