This is getting out of hand. Tim Tebow is here, we know this. He has been a member of the Jets for several months now. We have been through the initial faze of bringing him in here. We have been through the shock, the will he work questions, the how about Mark Sanchez questions.

However you or I feel, it is what it is.

Minicamp is over, and the Jets have put out the public face that there is no quarterback controversy. We have seen the stories comparing our two quarterbacks on the field during camp. Tim Tebow is a great guy, we have seen that too.

The stories about Tebow going out of his way for fans are great. There is no reason not to talk about that Tim Tebow is a model for other football players to follow. The media must also write on his progress as a football player. He is here to play football, and that is what most fans want to hear about.

But the nonsense needs to stop. The unrelated Tim Tebow society stories are irrelevant, and disruptive.
