Vladimir Ducasse. That name, by itself, instills fear in the heart of Jets fans, mainly due to his poor performance to date.

Well, believe it or not, that may be starting to change.

Ducasse has gotten a lot of extra work in OTAs, thanks to the injury to Matt Slauson. Vladimir is working at left guard with the starters, and the work has helped his comfort level greatly.

“It feels good to go through this stuff,” Ducasse said last week. “I didn’t get to do this stuff until I was in camp (last year). Now I’m doing now and by the time I get to camp everything is going to be rapid fire (snaps fingers). The more reps I can get the better it’s going to be.”
