Like it or not, Wayne Hunter is on this football team. Furthermore, he goes into camp as the starting right tackle. Yes, it turns my stomach as much as it turns yours, but we are stuck with him. At least for now, we are stuck with him.
That got me thinking, what could Wayne do to get better? Knee jerk answer was to find another position or another football team, but that’ obviously isn’t viable. So I found a limited amount of tape, looked at it, and have one fix that should help.
Wayne Hunter needs to be more aggressive.
Alan has been a passionate Jets fan since 1985. Obviously, that means he is a glutton for punishment, as he has suffered through many Jets disappointments. He remembers Mark Gastineau's late hit in the 1986 AFC Divisional Playoff game like it was yesterday. There have been many more failures than successes, but through it all, Alan has remained true to the Gang Green. He has been blogging for the Jets on various websites for the past 5-6 years. He lives and breathes the NY Jets all year round, and is committed to bringing the Jets passion to "The Jet Press" on a daily basis.
