So, you think playing football in NY is difficult?

Try holding out for a better contract in New York. If you ask Darrelle Revis, it is not easy to do. There has been some discussion about the chance he will hold out again this summer.

Whether he will or not, we don’t actually know yet, despite the beat reporters’ comments. What we do know is that Revis is not scared of how the fans will react. That is because he received death threats two years ago.

“I don’t know if you looked at my Twitter,” he said. “I was getting death threats and everything. I’m getting stuff now on Twitter.”

No matter what happens, can we avoid behaving like this please? It’s still a game, we can be mad at him if he holds out, but don’t threaten his life. It’s juvenile.
