Through all the Tebow talk, a bit of a different tune came from Jets OTAs. Believe it or not, some praise was actually sent in the direction of Mark Sanchez. Here’s a quote from Tony Sparano:
“I would say he’s probably put in the most amount of work, which he should,” Sparano said today. “It’s a credit to Mark that he has been able to put that kind of time in. It’s really important to him, and he’s done a tremendous job.”

Nice to finally see the incumbent get some praise, wouldn’t you agree?
Alan has been a passionate Jets fan since 1985. Obviously, that means he is a glutton for punishment, as he has suffered through many Jets disappointments. He remembers Mark Gastineau's late hit in the 1986 AFC Divisional Playoff game like it was yesterday. There have been many more failures than successes, but through it all, Alan has remained true to the Gang Green. He has been blogging for the Jets on various websites for the past 5-6 years. He lives and breathes the NY Jets all year round, and is committed to bringing the Jets passion to "The Jet Press" on a daily basis. Alan has also been recently named to the Pro Football Writers Association. Like what you read? Hit him up on twitter at @thejetpress
