Jets workouts will be missing a familiar face, at least untl training camp begins.

Special teams coach Mike Westhoff will be at home rehabbing after having let surgery on May 18th.

For those who don’t know, Mike is a bone cancer survivor, and had a titanium rod placed in his leg. Well, he was visiting with his son and he heard a sound, that turned out to be that rod breaking. So, the surgery was done.

Assitant Ben Kowitca will take over in the interim.

We all love Westhoff, and wish him a speedy recovery.
