Sanchez Outplays Tebow in First OTA Open to Media

Well, it’s an early round one, but it went to Mark Sanchez today. Mark clearly outplayed Tim Tebow on the field today during 7-7 drills.

His first three passes in 11-on-11s were incomplete, but that included a drop or two from his receivers. The highlight was a 75-yard touchdown to Stephen Hill, who burned Kyle Wilson on coverage. Sanchez finished 7-of-14 in 15 snaps during 11-on-11 team drills.

Tebow didn’t fare as well, getting intercepted on two straight passes, once by Bart Scott, and once by Yeremiah Bell. Unoffically, Tebow went 6-8 during 11-on-11s. Tebow was also used on special teams, as the personal protector on the punt team.

Obviously it’s early, but it is going to be a story. I wanted to make sure Mark Sanchez got his credit, with all of the pro-Tebow media out there.
