The Jets have been choosing some active defensive linemen the last couple of years, with the picks of Mo Wilkerson and Quinton Coples.  New defensive line coach Karl Dunbar is happy about it.  Take a look at what he had to say to Brian Costello of the New York Post:

“If you want to have a good defense, you’ve got to have a good defensive front,” Dunbar said. “I think we have two of the better corners in the league. We have  pretty good linebackers. It’s not to take away from any defensive linemen that  were here before, but when you get a chance to get young, big athletic guys, you  get them.”

Take a look at the entire post here.

Love that the coach likes it. He had a pretty good defensive line in Minnesota, and if he can get even similar production in New York, that will be music to our ears, that’s for sure.
