In 2007, Harris took over for Jonathan Vilma who was placed on injured reserve and recorded 127 tackles, despite starting only 9 games. He took over as a full time starter at inside linebacker in 2008, and has been a staple in the defensive front seven ever since.

2008 was his only season with under 85 tackles, as he only started 11 games that year due to injury. He started every game the next three years, recording seasons of 127, 99 and 86 tackles.

Here are some highlights:

He is by far the most consistent tackler on the team. For the defense to get where it needs to go, Harris will need to be his consistent self, and anchor that front seven. He will also be a guy critical to the development of rookie Demario Davis as well.

Spotlight, David Harris.
