To the Video Tape: Some Laron Landry Highlights

I thought I would end the evening with some highlights of our other new safety, LaRon Landry. Take a look:

He certainly is a good hitter, isn’t he? I actually found him similar to Yeremiah Bell, in that he is a great tackler. He takes good angles to the ball, and tackles through his man. Look at that tape, he does not miss.

The only thing I don’t like is his pass coverage. His reputation in that regard is not good, and I can see why. Not a lot of good pass defense shown.

He will be a good addition to the defense, but my hunch is that we will be looking to Antonio Allen and Josh Bush for the help in coverage.
