Well, somebody isn’t taking their suspension lying down.

It has been reported that a case has been filed in Louisiana, in which Jonathan Vilma has filed suit against Roger Goodell for defamation. The complaint alleges that “made public statements concerning Vilma which were false, defamatory and injurious, … to Vilma’s professional and personal reputation.”

Vilmas was suspended a full season for his role in Bountygate.

This seems like sour grapes to me, but, oh boy. This will get interesting.
