Does Low Expectations for 2012 Help the Jets?

On the back of an 8-8 performance in 2011, the Jets are likely to have lower expectations put on them by the “experts” in 2012. But might that help Rex Ryan and company? Take a look at this post from Joe Caporoso of turnonthejets.com and see his take:

Interesting take, and I tend to agree. With everyone not looking at them as Super Bowl contenders, if they play well, it could help them fly under the radar a bit like 2009.
