In a fact that hardley ever gets mentioned, Mark Sanchez has been one of the most durable quarterbacks in the NFL during his time in the league, starting 47 out of a possible 48 games. He’s also never been pushed by a legitimate backup quarterback.

Well, we all know that is no longer the case with Mr. Tebow in town.

How is Mark Sanchez getting ready for this new challenge? Getting stronger.

“Just starting with this first couple of weeks, one of these things is in the weight room, to really push myself and get a little stronger, a little thicker and maintain my agility, my speed and things like that. That was No. 1 physically,” Sanchez told ESPN.com’s James Walker during the Jets’ OTAs.

We all know that despite what they are saying, Mark Sanchez has no interest in being on the sidelines in 2012. Hopefully bulking up will help him.
