The Jets let a lot out to the media. In stark contrast to other teams, we find out a lot about what our team is doing. But do we find out the truth? Take a look at this conversation between fellow blogger Erik Manassy, and Leon Washington’s wife. According to her, a lot of lies get leaked, and that’s night and day from other organizations.

It’s hard to say whether she is all on the level. She has reason to be annoyed with the Jets, as her husband was a bit discarded by the Jets following his injury. The Jets apparently did give him the impression they would keep him around and then didn’t. She could be a bit of a wife scorned.

But if this is true, it makes me wonder why. Are we this gullible because we haven’t won a Super Bowl? Is it as I have said in the past, that Woody Johnson is all about the almighty dollar, and appeasing the fans gets him closer to that?
