Top 10 Passers in New York Jets History

This morning we take a look inside the Jets record book, at the top 10 passers in team history. Here they are:

1. Joe Namath (27,057 yards), 1965-76.

2. Ken O’Brien (24,386), 1984-92.

3. Richard Todd (18,241), 1976-83.

4. Chad Pennington (13,738) 2000-07.

5. Vinny Testaverde (12,497) 1998-05.

6. Mark Sanchez (9.209) 2009-present.

7. Boomer Esiason (8,478) 1993-95.

8. Al Dorow (5,399) 1960-61.

9. Dick Wood (4,502) 1963-64.

10. Pat Ryan (4,222) 1978-89

Just found it interesting to read this morning.  Mark Sanchez is a lot close to the top 5 than I realized.  And I was always a Ken O’Brien fan, so his totals don’t surprise me.  Just interesting info for thought on this Monday morning.
