Mike Westhoff: Tim Tebow is a “More Potent Brad Smith”

Guess who again was a topic of conversation in Jets land?

That’s right, the “excited” one. Remember how the Jets mentioned that Tim Tebow will be the “personal protector” for the punt team? Well, maybe he will have a bigger role than that. Coach Westhoff told beat report Manish Mehta that he sees Tebow as a “more potent Brad Smith”, which makes you wonder if he sees Tebow doing work on the return teams too.

Frankly, I don’t much care anymore about the speculation as to what our backup QB’s role is going to be. Let’s just see him do it on the field already, but since Westhoff mentioned it, I bring it to you guys.

Please let this man play. That will solve all this BS. he took a losing team, brought back their confidence and won in the playoffs…Then he was treated like garbage and has not had a chance since. Mr Peyton Manning got no farther with that team…and he had a better team than Tebow…Give him a chance to play…He deserves that!
