NFL Writer Gregg Rosenthal Not a Fan of Jets WR Chaz Schillens

I have mentioned that I think Chaz Schillens was a good signing. If he’s healthy I think he will make a good contribution to the wide receiving group. Clearly, Gregg Rosenthal of nfl.com doesn’t agree. Take a look at his words:

Hill is a very raw route runner, but he’ll have to learn on the fly with Jeremy Kerley as the team’s No. 3 receiver and, uh, Chaz Schilens after that. Ryan is making life difficult on his inexperienced quarterbacks and his inexperienced rookie wideout.

A lot of writers assume a negative take on the Jets, and this is no different.  Sometimes I think, if in doubt, a writer takes the negative position on something the Jets do.  Here’s hoping that Rosenthal is wrong here.
